Framestore Chicago

When video special effects company Framestore looked to open a Chicago office, they tapped New York-based DHD Architecture and Interiors to design the space.  DHD, in turn, reached out to Field Guide founder Daniel Roush, then a partner at Vinci | Hamp Architects (VHA) to provide local architectural support.

The new offices occupy an entire floor of a historic loft building in Chicago’s West Loop. The project removed all existing partitions and created an entirely new layout to accommodate the owner’s need for collaborative workspaces alongside private and confidential client areas, all linked to a new, state of the art server room.

A large kitchen and gathering area keeps the team fed and facilitates collaboration.

This project was designed by DHD Architecture and Interiors.  The architect of record was Vinci | Hamp Architects of Chicago.  Field Guide founder Daniel Roush was the project architect for the work.
