This apartment previously featured naturally-finished oak paneling on the majority of its wall surfaces.  Field Guide worked with the owner to dial back the wood look, removing the paneling in some areas and painting it in others.

Where previously the Oak dominated the environment, it is now a more balanced player within the apartment’s larger material palette.

In the dining room, a new sideboard, mirror and seating complement the owner’s existing dining table and lamp.  New paint brightens the space where previously there was wall-to-wall oak.
